To apply for an H1B, L1, O1, Q or P visa, you will need to schedule an appointment for an interview in advance by calling 0900 70600 (from a landline within Egypt ONLY] or 2100 [from a call center line ONLY]. If you are currently in the U.S. but need to schedule an appointment, please ask a contact residing in Egypt to schedule the appointment for you during the interval you intend to visit Egypt. S/he will need your passport information, date of birth, full name and prior visa type and issuance date.
At the time of the interview, you MUST bring the following to the Embassy:
- A passport valid for travel to the United States.
- Fully completed and signed application forms for each applicant.
- One photograph -against a plain light background- for each applicant.
- Receipt from any CIB branch in Egypt showing payment for each applicant (nonrefundable).
- Prior passports, if any,
- BCIS Extensions, if any,
- BCIS Notice of Action (I-797). (Original and a copy)
- Complete and updated CV and list of publications
- Transcripts from post-high school education.
- Any other documents that maybe deemed pertinent to the application.
